Hey everyone, come to celebrate Estonia!


Kids are the foundation of the community, Estonian Sunday School is a key to sustain Estonian culture in Los Angeles.

We extend a warm welcome to kids, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents alike. Expect delightful food and engaging conversations about Estonia and its connections to California.

Our Consul General of Estonia in San Francisco,Maria Belovaswill join us together with guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia: Marin Mõttus- Ambassador at Large for the Diaspora,  Kadri Linnas- Counsellor of the Department of the Global Estonian Diaspora and Cultural Diplomacy, and Kaire Cocker - Head of Consultations for Estonians returning to Estonia , Integration Foundation.

Alati kaunis ja silmapaistev näitlejanna, kes kokku 30 aastat meelitanud publikut Eesti Draamateatrisse lavastusi vaatama, tuleb üsna avatult, kui mitte öelda alasti, publiku ette lugudega oma elust.

Õhtu kava on vaba näitekirjaniku kirjutatud tekstist ning remarkidest, mille näitlejanna peaks pähe õppima, lavastaja kindlakäelistest suunistest ning loodetavasti ka kriitikute viisakalt vinguvast kriitikast.

Publiku ette astub üks ja ainus Merle Palmiste (Eesti Draamateater).

Piletid eelmüügist kuni 16.september Los Angelese Eesti Seltsi liikmetele $ 25, teistele $ 30, etenduse päeval kohapeal Los Angelese Eesti Seltsi liikmetele $ 35, teistele $ 40.

The always beautiful and head-turning actress, who has for 30 years brought theatergoers into the Estonian Drama Theater, now brings the stories of her life to the audience quite openly and freely.

The evening's program is not bound by any text or
remarks written by the playwright, which the actress should learn by heart, nor by a director’s firm guidelines, and hopefully also not by polite complaints of the critics.

Tickets pre-sale until September 16th: members of the Estonian Society of Los Angeles $ 25, others $ 30. On September 17th at the door: members $ 35, others $ 40.

Performance is followed by the coffee and pastry free of charge.
